Belgian Trappist ale (6.2% ABV) from the Notre-Dame d'Orval abbey, bottle-aged for at least one year. The Brettanomyces yeast has consumed the residual sugars, giving a drier beer with less of the hoppy freshness of a young Orval, pronounced wild notes of leather, hay and lemon zest, and a dry, bitter finish.
